How it works | How to set an appointment with The Center for Counceling

The Center is a Licensed Community Mental Health Center, serving Barton, Pawnee, Rice and Stafford Counties.

Intake is an information gathering session. An assignment is made to a therapist who can offer the most beneficial services for you. Medication or case management referrals may be made after intake. Following intake, you can schedule services closer to your home: Barton, Pawnee, Rice and Stafford counties in our satellite offices.

Procedure for Obtaining Service

A person seeking services may be referred by another agency, person or may be self-referred.
First Time Appointments are available by tele-video.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

What you need to fill out & bring with you:

-Fill out each section of the forms, and be sure to hit the “submit” button at the end.

-You can also print and sign the forms and bring them with you or fax signed forms to 620-792-7052.

– You will need to provide your Photo ID ( Drivers License.)

– Provide your Insurance Card (if you have one.)

– Provide Proof of income (last years tax statement or current paycheck.)
(We will file with your insurance company first, then we can offer you a reduced fee based on your income)

– Fees or copay is expected at time of consultation.
